The Sports Lounge's resident mock draft expert, Arun Thiruvengadam comes out with his latest projection for the April 26th Draft. This latest version is expanded, with four rounds of predictions.
ROUND 1
1. Miami Dolphins - Jake Long OT Michigan
Parcells takes the safe pick and looks to build inside out from the trenches.
2. St. Louis Rams - Chris Long DE Virginia
St. Louis will rush to the podium to hand in the card. Long and Carriker give the Rams a great young pass rush for years to come.
3. Atlanta Falcons - Glenn Dorsey DT LSU
Atlanta will look hard at Matt Ryan, but will opt for the safe pick and take stud DT Dorsey and look to draft a QB in the second round.
4. Oakland Raiders - Vernon Gholston DE Ohio St.
Al Davis will have his pick of athletic freaks in McFadden and Gholston. But with a glut of running backs, Davis will opt for workout warrior, Gholston.
5. Kansas City Chiefs - Matt Ryan QB Boston College
KC sent their GM, HC, and OC to Ryan's pro day. Though it may be an elaborate smoke screen, it would be fair to say that KC is not happy nor comfortable with Croyle's progression.
6. New York Jets - Darren McFadden RB Arkansas
Jets take the BPA as they have filled most of their holes through FA. DMC gives the Jets an offensive playmaker they sorely lack. DMC should wreak havoc with the newly built offensive line.
7. New England Patriots(from SF) - Leodis McKelvin CB Troy
NE will replace Asante Samuel with McKelvin who is the top CB in the draft.
8. Baltimore Ravens - Ryan Clady OT Boise St.
Baltimore may look to draft a CB as McAlister and Rolle are getting old, but with Ogden contemplating retirement, LT rises to top as a need.
9. Cincinnati Bengals - Sedrick Ellis DT USC
Bengals are estatic that Ellis drops to them. They get the BPA which happens to fill a major need position.
10. New Orlean Saints - Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie CB Tenn. St.
Saints backfield got torched repeatedly last season. DRC will go a long way to fix that problem.
11. Buffalo Bills - Malcolm Kelly WR Oklahoma
Will be a great complement to Lee Evans and gives Edwards another offensive option. This also gives the Bills insurance in case Evans holds out next season.
12. Denver Broncos - Chris Williams OT Vanderbilt
Broncos would love to get their hand on either Ellis or Dorsey. But with Lepsis retiring, Denver will pick his sucessor.
13. Carolina Panthers - Jeffrey Otah OT Pittsburgh
Carolina is rebuilding their whole offensive line in hope of keeping Delhomme upright this season. Otah will allow the Panthers to keep Gross at his natural position RT.
14. Chicago Bears - Branden Albert G/T Virginia
Albert played mostly guard at Virginia, but has the size to play tackle in the NFL. Both guard and tackle are needs for the Bears.
15. Detriot Lions - Rashard Mendenhall RB Illinois
Detriot is looking to bring balance back to their offense after firing Martz. With the release of Kevin Jones, Mendenhall will be the guy.
16. Arizona Cardinals - Mike Jenkins CB South Florida
With Antrell Rolle moving to safety, Jenkins will take over at CB to facilitate this move.
17. Minnesota Vikings - Derrick Harvey OLB/DE Florida
After striking out with Erasmus James and Kendhzi Udeze, Vikings look to make amends with Harvey.
18. Houston Texans - Aqib Talib CB Kansas
With Dunta Robinson's availability up in the air, CB becomes a big time need for the Texans.
19. Philadelphia Eagles - Devin Thomas WR Michigan State
Eagles made push for Moss before he resigned with NE. WR is a void that Eagles haven't filled since TO left.
20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - DeSean Jackson WR California
TB is looking to get younger at WR as Hilliard and Galloway are getting old. Jackson should also help in the return game.
21. Washington Redskins - Limas Sweed WR Texas
Skins are looking for a big WR to incorporate into their new offense. Sweed may have gone higher if he wasn't hampered with a wrist injury during the season.
22. Dallas Cowboys(from CLE) - Jonathan Stewart RB Oregon
Stewart drops slightly due injury concerns. Nonetheless he is a first round talent. Stewart will replace Jones to join Barber in their two headed RB attack.
23. Pittsburgh Steelers - Gosder Cherilus OT Boston College
Steelers have glaring holes on OL due FA departures. Cherilus will help solidify the OL.
24. Tennessee Titans - Keith Rivers OLB USC
An absolute steal for the Titans as Rivers slides. Will be another piece in a young defense.
25. Seattle Seahawks - Dustin Keller TE Perdue
Seattle has been looking for a TE forever. They almost signed Crumpler before he signed with Tenn. Keller is top rated TE who can stretch the field.
26. Jacksonville Jaguars - Phillip Merling DE Clemson
Merling would've gone higher if not for his recent surgery for hernia repair. Merling will be a great value for a team looking to improve their pass rush.
27. San Diego Chargers - Kentwan Balmer DT North Carolina
Balmer will be utilized as a 3-4 DE for SD and as DT in a 4-3 when they decide to go to a hybrid defensive scheme.
28. Dallas Cowboys - Mario Manningham WR Michigan
Crayton is a #2 WR at best. TO and Glenn are getting old. Manningham will add youth to Dallas's core of WR.
29. San Fransico 49ers(from IND) - Carl Nicks OT Nebraska
A bit of a reach, but with SF signing Bryant Johnson and Isaac Bruce, WR is not a major need. Nicks has great size to play RT giving SF two young bookend tackles along with Staley.
30. Green Bay Packers - Brandon Flowers CB Virginia Tech
Harris and Woodson are getting old and brittle. Flowers will play nickel until he is ready to start.
XX. New England Patriots - FORFEITED FOR CHEATING
31. New York Giants - Dan Connor OLB Penn St.
Safety is also a need, but Sammy Knight will be an adequate stop gap. The Giants got repeatedly torched last year by opposing teams TEs. Connor is a great value and fills a need.

33. St. Louis Rams - James Hardy WR Indiana
