Quixtar Is Now Amway Global, What Does It Mean To You?

Amway Global | formerly Quixtar North America, is a multi level marketing company that distributes household products that you and I use every day. Its parent company, Amway, of course is well known in the industry as being one of the oldest network marketing company in existence. Originally founded in 1959 in Michigan, its product offerings and partnerships have grown many folds, but its distribution methods remain unchanged through the early 2000s.

In the North America, Amway Corporation had moved most of its Independent Business Owners to the newly formed company, Quixtar. Its motive behind the move was to streamline its distribution of goods so that new distributors can order products online and have it shipped directly to customers home. It was more efficient compare to the original method of having the product shipped to the distributors home, than the distributors physically deliver goods to customers homes.

Quixtar was the Amway for the new generation. Nimble and responsive to customers and distributors' needs via its online operation.

In 2007, Amway Corp decided to change the Quixtar's North American distribution channel back to the Global Amway brand in sync with the rest of the world. Given the re-branding, Amway has no intention to change its online distribution methods back to that of the original.

Whatever happens with the corporate Amway brand in the coming years, one thing is for sure. To be successful in any of the Amway affiliate company, distributors have to adopt a new way of doing business.

Promoting a replicated site provided by the corporate will not produce the results a successful IBO is looking for. You need to create your own brand in order to stand out from a sea of other Amway IBOs, because in this industry, new recruits join a business not because what corporate you represent, but what can you, as a leader, do for the new rep.

I've read a report on the breakdown of income of top earners in Amway. Over 70 percent of Diamond IBO's income comes from selling of books, CDs, and other inspirational and educational materials. What that tells me is not rather Amway product is relevant, but the importance of content to new distributors.

When you can establish an online presence and give insights of what makes a successful IBO, new recruits and even people who are testing the waters will take notice. That influence will convert people to talk about you, edify you, and join you.
